school overview
The French-English unit at Te kura o Tawatawa - Ridgway School is called Ruru La Chouette and was established with the help of Frenz in 2019.
TawaTawa - Ridgway is a publicly funded primary school in Southern Brooklyn, Wellington, just a few minutes from the CBD. Our school is committed to bilingualism and diversity. It has a pleasant setting on expansive grounds and is ideally placed to make the most of all the advantages our capital city has to offer.
central school
Tawatawa - Ridgway has about 240 students and is located in a vibrant neighbourhood.
Ridgway is currently in the process of becoming zoned, it is not yet in place.
Green space
Tawatawa - Ridgway has a large playing field with a 400m sealed bike track, as well as a skills track with various cycle challenges. Children have adventures in amongst the trees and plants on our bank, build and create in the sandpit, and take care of the plants in our garden.
